Energy Security and Policies of the Visegrad Countries: Between the West and Russia

The special issue of the prestigious journal Energy Policy called Energy Security and Policies of the Visegrad Countries: Between the West and Russia focuses on the energy security and policies of the V4 states between the West and Russia. The aim was to present a comprehensive picture of the regional energy policies, taking into account the broader economic and political context of energy imports, transportation, distribution, and consumption.

While the main focus was on the V4 countries, articles also analyzed external actors like the EU, Russia, Ukraine, the USA, and regional players like Germany, France, or Turkey.

The main coordinator of the special issue was Lukáš Tichý, Head of the Centre for Energy Policy of the IIR. The coordinator was Petr Kratochvíl, Senior Researcher of the IIR.
